Delaware Academy

Parent Teacher Association

Welcome to the DA PTA website!

We are excited to be back and working hard for parents, teachers, and students! We'll be offering after school programs again this year, and have expanded beyond Elementary students to offer classes for Middle & High School students as well - stay tuned as we'll be updating our website with more information on these programs very soon!

New Leadership: back in May we elected new Officers. You can see our Officers, Board, Committee chairs, and how to get in touch with us on our About page.

Quick links to our Events, Google Calendar, After School Programs, how to Become a Member, & Flower Power Fundraiser are below. Please check out the full navigation bar at the top as well.

FREE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

We're happy to report our after school programs have expanded and in addition to Elementary School Programs, we'll also be offering Middle & High School Programs as well.

Read more about each of the offerings below and when you're ready you can sign up using the Elementary After School Registration Form or the MS/HS After School Registration Form.

Please Note:  If students are enrolled in DA PTA after school programs all parents/guardians are responsible for transportation for those days and for alerting the DA transportation department of the bus change.  Once enrolled, schedule changes will not be allowed.  For example. students will not be allowed to come home on the bus on any days they are enrolled in PTA after school programs.  If you need your child to come home one day or multiple days when they are signed up for after school then you or another guardian must pick them up at the end of the school day.

Please see our AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS page for more information about each of these programs and to enroll! PLEASE NOTE: ENROLLMENT BEGINS SEPTEMBER 18!

Fall Flower Sale ($500 goal)

Our popular seasonal flower bulb and seed sale is on, but ends October 15

Proceeds go to our expanded FREE after school programming and DA Teacher grants

Flower Power Fundraising helps support groups, causes and communities using an earth-friendly alternative to traditional fundraising through the sale of flowers, bulbs and perennials that can be enjoyed for years to come!

PTA is for everyone: parents, guardians, grandparents, teachers and staff, community members and more. Joining and / or volunteering with PTA doesn’t require any specific time commitments. Volunteering is amazing, but becoming a supporting member for $6 a year is enough!
