Craft Fair (K-12)

CALLING ALL CREATIVE K-12 ENTREPRENEURS!

DA PTA is hosting the student craft fair again this year on December 9th from 10am - 12pm in the DA Middle School Gym!   

Students will be the vendors and sell their hand crafted wares to the community! Register as a Vendor for $5 for a table, please read through our Vendor Guidelines (tldr: only hand crafted/homemade items are eligible for sale - no store bought items, no weapons, etc.). 

Wreaths 'N' Treats
Saturday, December 2
10:30am - 12pm 

Kids and adults will work together to make their own seasonal botanical wreath. All supplies included. There will be sugar cookies for decorating, and coffee, too!

$25 for 1 Wreath (1 adult + 1 child)

$10 for additional Wreath/child

Penguin Patch Holiday Shop
Friday, December 1
(PreK-5 only, shop at school)

DA PTA will be hosting the Penguin Patch Holiday Shop again this year! Students will have the chance to select gifts for their loved ones, wrap them up and have it just in time for the holidays!

HALLOWEEN KIDS NIGHT OUT

Location: DA Elementary School (2 Sheldon Drive)

Our kids night out events are a chance for you to drop off your kids at the elementary school (we entertain them with face painting, art, story time, science, fun, games, and food) while you take some "me" time! Costumes are not required, but encouraged.

Visit our stand at the 28th Annual Delhi Harvest Fest (in the square) on Saturday, September 23, 2022 from 10am - 4pm for some fun! Make a donation for the following:

This is our FINAL KNO of the year, and the theme (always optional, of course) is "End of the Year Pajama Party." Feel free to wear your fave, most comfy, wildest jammies!

DA PTA Executive Board Elections May 11, 2023
DA PTA Officer Elections will be held at our annual general member meeting in-person on May 11, 2023 at 6:30pm at the Legion Pavilion (near the Soccer Fields). Officers shall assume their official duties on July 1, 2023 and shall serve for a term of two years or until a successor is elected; attending committee meetings is required of all positions.
After surveying our members, we are recommending the nominees below for the following officer positions:

• President: Rachel Watson

• Vice President: Stacey Potter

• Secretary: Lauralea Edwards

• Treasurer: Christina Grasso

Write-in candidates are still welcome on election night, and if you’d like to nominate someone before elections (May 11) please fill out the nominating form and we will add all candidates to the ballot. We welcome all nominations and will strive to create a diverse and balanced roster of applicants that accurately represents our demographic. All of the positions and descriptions are listed on the Nomination Form. We ask that you please speak with the member you are submitting for their consent to be nominated before submitting to the nominating committee. You do not need to complete the form for every position, only where you have a recommendation(s) or suggestion.

Kids Night Out - New Year's Edition - January 20, 2023 from 6pm - 8pm at DA Elementary School 

Our kids night out events are a chance for you to drop off your kids at the elementary school (we entertain them with face painting, art, story time, science, fun, games, and food) while you take some "me" time! 

To ring in the new year, we're having a special guest, DJ Sara Sisco, who will be spinning jams and hosting karaoke for your budding singer/s! 

Coat Drive: we'll also take this opportunity to have another winter clothes swap. Please bring coats, boots, and snowsuits for a clothing swap or donation (not required)!

Are you a DA Student who loves to make things?

We are hosting a craft fair in conjunction with the Penguin Patch Holiday Gift Shop. The Craft Fair will be a fun, experience for you to learn what it’s like to become a vendor and sell your wares! 

Additionally, we'll have the Penguin Patch Holiday Gift Shop - a great way for students to purchase gifts for their loved ones for the holidays at reasonable prices (with gifts as low $0.25).

This is a DA PTA Fundraiser. Only DA students (of any age) are eligible to be vendors. The event will take place on December 3, 2022 from 10AM - 12PM at the Elementary School Cafeteria.

Penguin Patch Kids' Holiday Shop - Friday, Dec 2

🐧 🎁 The Penguin Patch Kids' Holiday Shop will be open to elementary school students on Friday, December 2 from 8am - 11am. Students will be escorted by class at intervals throughout the morning. The PPKHS a great way for students to purchase gifts for their loved ones for the holidays at reasonable prices (with gifts as low $0.25). If you'd like your child to participate please remember to send them to school with a few extra bucks on Friday! 🐧 🎁

We will also have a table/booth for the Penguin Patch Kids' Holiday Shop at the Craft Fair on Saturday, December 3 (from 10am - 2pm)

Cookies & Canvas PTA Fundraiser (facebook link here)

Join Delaware Academy's art teacher, Wendy Reid-Jackson, for a fun "Paint & Sip Style" event to paint on canvas, eat some sweet treats and learn more about art basics.  Wendy has graciously offered to PRE-SKETCH everything on the canvases for us. Just come paint and enjoy!

The cost is $15 for a single admission (7+ for drop-off), $25 a pair (two individuals) and $10 each additional child:
